ABSTRACT

A segurança transfusional sanguínea está diretamente relacionada com a cuidadosa seleção de doadores que já deve ser iniciada no processo da captação dos doadores, por meio de ações educativas e informativas a respeito da doação. Foram analisadosos registros da triagem clínica e sorológica dos doadores de sangue no Hemocentro de Sergipe, entre 2004 e 2006. Dos 86.637 candidatos à doação, 10% foram rejeitados na triagem clinica, aproximadamente. Destacando-se o estado gripal com 18,9% e o uso de medicamentoscom 10,2%. Das 76.436 doações submetidas à triagem sorológica, foram rejeitadas por apresentarem soropositividade nos exames: 1,42% Anti-HBsAg, 1,55% VRDL, 0,24% IgG anti T.cruzi, 2,0% Anti-HIV I/II, 0,49% Anti-HCV, 3,72% Anti-HBc e 0,36% Anti- HTLV I/II. O perfil de rejeição poderá redirecionar campanhas educativas.


The safety sanguine transfusional is directly related to the careful selection of donors that should already be initiate in the process of the donors' reception, through educational and informative actions regarding the donation. The registrations of the clinical selection and the donors' of blood sorologic were analyzed in Hemocentro of Sergipe, between 2004 and 2006. The rejection profile can redirect educational campaigns.
